An Event of support for the Afghan Refugees

An event of support and cloth distribution for the Afghan Refugees who recently came to the UK was held at Al Manaar the Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre on the 14 November 2021.

Over 400 men, women and children benefited from this great initiative. There were plenty of clothes for everyone to chose from, and children were very happy and exited to chose their own shoes and toys.

The event was organised in partnership with Care 4 Calais, a volunteer run charity organisation who provide essential aid and support to refugees in the UK.

The volunteers have provided a friendly face and helping hand, and made it an enjoyable event for all refugees who attended and benefit from this distribution.
