Al-Manaar Efforts Appreciated in Parliament

On Friday 2nd July 2021 Al-Manaar Centre was visited by Ms Felicity Buchan MP, who expressed great appreciation for the Centre’s activities and services to the community in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC).

Ms Buchan toured the Mosque and saw the Centre’s facilities, including a library and training rooms open to the community seven days a week.

Al-Manaar’s CEO, Mr. Sayed, gave Ms Buchan detailed briefing on the Centre’s existing projects and preparations to contribute to addressing Covid-19 impact on employment and mental health in collaboration with partners in the voluntary and statutory sectors.

The visit was concluded with Ms Buchan availing her office to assist Al-Manaar’s charitable efforts. She has also shared what she found at Al-Manaar during government Question Time in the House of Commons (Parliament) on Wednesday 7th July 2021.
