Together’ Cook-Book

We’re proud to be celebrating the launch of the ‘Together’ cookbook, from the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen and HRH The Duchess of Sussex.

Last summer, after the Grenfell fire, a group of women gathered in our communal kitchen at Al Manaar, where they could prepare fresh food for their families, friends and neighbours. As they cooked together with the women who worked at Al Manaar, as a community they began to connect, heal and look forward. Word spread and more women joined in, embracing community and supporting their neighbours in their time of need. This was the start of the Hubb Community Kitchen.

Today, the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen have shared their very own recipes for a new cookbook, Together – with a foreword by HRH The Duchess of Sussex, and over 50 delicious recipes (many of which have been handed down through generations), the proceeds will help the kitchen to stay open seven days a week and to benefit others in the community.
