Monday 15th July 2024, our Elderly Wellbeing Group went on a trip to Kew Gardens. Read Below the summary from Intlak our Elderly Wellbeing Project Manager.
Yesterday, I took 60 women from the Elderly Wellbeing group to Kew Gardens for a day filled with nature, birds, flowers, and botanical history. We used public transport to reach the gardens. Once there, the women enjoyed exploring independently, with some opting for a guided walking tour while others chose the train tour, which allowed them to hop on and off as they pleased. This variety of activities ensured a smooth and enjoyable day, accommodating those who couldn’t walk long distances.
Overall, the women had a peaceful and enriching experience at Kew Gardens, gaining a deeper appreciation for the diverse plant life our world offers.
