Al-Manaar Recognised For “Best Outreach Service”

At the Second Beacon Mosque Awards event organised by Faith Associates yesterday, Al-Manaar was a recipient of an Award for “Best Outreach Service” in recognition for work with homeless people and reaching out to the wider community and partners.

The Award, received by Al-Manaar’s staff and Trustees, was presented by the Labour Party MP for Bradford South Ms Naz Shah.

It is to be recalled that at the first Beacon Mosque Awards held last year, Al-Manaar was the winner of the first “5* Beacon Mosque” and “Best Run Mosque” Awards.

The Beacon Mosque Awards initiative by Faith Associates is designed to raise standards and best practices as well as celebrating the hard work and achievements of Mosque and Community institutions across the UK.
