Public prayers were observed yesterday afternoon, Saturday 16th March 2019, in memory of the victims of the Christchurch terrorist attack, which killed at least 50 Muslim worshippers, including children, on Friday 15th March 2019.
Organised by resident Londoners, Sister Zakia and Sister Sara and led by Al-Manaar Mosque’s Imam Ahmad Aldahdouh, the prayers took place at London’s Trafalgar Square near the New Zealand Embassy and sent a message of unity and solidarity with the people of New Zealand.
