At a large event organised by Faith-Associates on Saturday 8th September 2018 and attended by over 200 guests from across the UK, Europe and Africa, Al-Manaar Mosque was recognised as the first 5 Star and “Best Run Mosque” institution in the UK.
The Award, the first of its kind in the UK as far as mosques are concerned, was initiated by Faith-Associates and supported by judges representing wide ranging knowledge and relevant expertise.
The first Award ceremony was held in Paddington-Hilton on Saturday 8th September 2018. Similar events are expected to be held on annual basis in the years to come.
Al-Manaar’s accreditation as a certified 5 Start Mosque with an additional award for “Best Run Mosque” is a reflection of the hard work and dedication displayed by staff, volunteers and the wider community that support the Mosque & Centre.
The Awards will also enable Al-Manaar to exchange and share knowledge and expertise with likeminded charity institutions.
