All wall-mounted collection boxes around the Centre are emptied and designated for Zakat-ul-Fitr from 20 Ramadan.

Notices are put around the Centre to remind people to pay their Zakat before Eid prayer. Hand-held collection boxes are made available on Eid day at all entrances to the Centre to receive Zakat in the last minutes before Eid prayers. The collected Zakat is counted and distributed immediately.

This year the Zakat-ul-Fitr is £4 for yourself and each person that you maintain.

You can pay your Zakat-ul-Fitr by

(1)   Placing it in the marked boxes located around the Centre;

(2)   Handing it to a member of staff who will be wearing an Al Manaar ID badge; or

(3)   Writing a cheque payable to the Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre.
